Organization Founding and Status
The Bloomingdale Athletic Club ("BAC") is a private, non-profit 501 c3 organization founded in 1959 and governed by a board of directors who are responsible for performing the administrative duties of the organization. BAC football and cheer are members of the Bill George Youth Football League ("BGYFL"), established in 1963 with a $500 donation by legendary Chicago Bears linebacker Bill George. BAC lacrosse is a member of the Illinois Boys Lacrosse Association ("IBLA").
Board Meeting Schedule
Board meetings are open to all members of the BAC--including coaches, benefactors, and guardians of registered players--and are held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at the Bloomingdale Village Hall at 8:30 PM from September through November and at 7:30 PM from December through August.
Board Member Elections
Board members are elected each November. Members of the BAC who wish to be eligible for a seat on the board of directors must attend the June through September board meetings.
